My canvas is here…I’m in love!!   I got it in a 24×36 and I’m so glad I decided to go bigger as it would have gotten lost on my fireplace!   The ones below it (0lder shots) are 12×12…amazing how small they really look.   I always encourage people to go bigger then you think as I think of portraits of my kids as artwork and artwork is meant to make a statement…something small prints don’t do.

Took these this past weekend but am just getting around now to post them! 

Didn’t get any decent pix taken due to Jacob being crabby and gassy for some reason.   Please share your best tips for that in the comments section as I get so many new moms reading that it might help them as well.

So I thought I’d share his Nursery.     This was decorated by Lorraine at LKInteriors , a fabulous Children’s Room Decorator and Friend :)   Keep in mind that hubby thought we could just pull out a drawer in our room and he can sleep in there…now he has the nicest room in the house!    Lorraine was great to work with as she knew my style was clean with a hint of shabby chic (kinda like my photography I guess!)

Hard to believe he is already a week old!   This morning we got up early while everyone else slept…fed him and then he just cuddled on my chest.  I think thats my most favorite thing about this age and the thing I miss most about my girls being newborns.  

Some from yesterday…I swear I don’t take pix all day long but we do set aside 30 minutes or so and well since he does nothing but sleep I have to do something!

Did some sibling shots yesterday of all the kids together.   My “dream” is to get a very large canvas for above my fire place and I’ve been “saving” that spot for that perfect shot of all 4.   How did I do?

What?  You can’t see it?  haha   Thats because it was a nightmare!  Yes, one would think since I do this professionally that taking shots of my own would be a breeze right?   Unfortunatly with a 7, 5, just turned 3 and less then a one week old it might be near impossible!    I did try again today so hopefully I’ll have one to share tomorrow.    

Still sleeping all day long…and I mean all day and suprizingly only up once at night.
