Sweetie that came in, and teething advice :)

Ahh…she was such a doll baby.  Poor thing was teething so bad though.  At 10 months she hasn’t had any teeth come in, so her Dr. thinks shes getting them all at once.   Thought I’d share one since she was such a trooper!   And since I get so many hits and readers to my blog, If you have any teething advice for her mommy…please post in the comments.  I’m sure we all have been there!

August 25, 2007 - 6:51 am Jen - My advice is to not be afraid to use the baby Motrin or Advil drops. My daughter has a kidney disorder that REQUIRES her to take 3 doses of an advil-like medication daily (not for pain relief) and we never had any teething issues. She didn't even drool. Advil will save the child from much pain.

August 25, 2007 - 11:45 am Amy - I also piggy backed motrin / tylenol when some of the pain and drooling was affecting the babies. (I have twins) so anything to help relieve cranky pain is good. They also love to chew on those frozen or just cold teething rings. I also used plenty of bibs :)

August 26, 2007 - 7:47 am Debbie - I also used baby Motrin which seems to really help and then the teething tablets. A frozen rag works well to chew on or a frozen waffle.

August 26, 2007 - 2:48 pm Jaime - awww!!! isn't she a sweetheart! poor baby! my little niece is going though this right now at 15 months old and getting her first teeth! I know I just loved those soft-flexible freezer teethers from Babies'r'us!

August 26, 2007 - 6:37 pm Mary - No advice here, mine were happy with the teeth coming in. LOL Beautiful little girl and gorgeous picture.

August 27, 2007 - 3:24 pm Libby - What an angel! Baby Orajel was always a huge success for my 4 children! Worked immediately and then backed it up with ibuprofen! Good luck!!
