Had these cuties in this week (seperately of course!) both for their first birthday session!  Both are past clients and I’ve enjoyed seeing them grow up!

One would think a 2 year old and a 5 year old would be a tough session, but these two were both so sweet and easy.    And these are the first two shots I opened up, so I am so pleased as I know there will be lots more cute ones!

The weather has been gorgeous here!  Which made this session go so much smoother!  My first beach session and it might be something I start offering next spring!  Sorry so many…just click on the photos to enlarge!

I often reflect on the importance of having a best friend and I often think of the quote my mom used to say “you can pick and choose your friends and your friends are the family you would choose if you had a choice”  or something along those lines!    I also remind my daughters how lucky they are to have friends who are like sisters to them.

In honor of this I am holding an essay contest.  Yea, I know….we all hate writing!    Tell me about your best friend and why they are your best friend.   My panel of judges will choose the winner and the “winner”  will receive TWO (yes 2) complimentary sessions in which you and your best friend come in together for this double session to take place January – February 2008!   Thats a huge value!!

So get writing!   Entries will be received from now until Tuesday October 30th at midnight and the winner will be announced on Thursday November 1st.

Baby T just completely his baby plan!  I enjoyed photographing him.  I remember his newborn session and he slept the whole time.    They really do grow so fast!

OK…to settle down from a crazy cover baby contest week…we are gonna do something different and fun!  I’m going to try and do a few contests a week for a bit.

Thanks for all those that sent in stories and photos. I had so much fun looking through them and it was hard!  Good thing I had people helping!    We literally burst out laughing when Julie sent us this photo of her daughter as “captain underpants”.   Congrats Julie!
