Man, you readers have been busy!  Ahem…some have been here more then others the last two days   (get back to work!..haha)

As a thank you, I’m going to be posting a special on my blog later today so stay tuned (that means I’m still not sure what the special will be!)  haha

I meant to do this last month, but its been crazy busy!   Instead of the monthly “cover baby” contest,  its time to vote for the 2007 Image of the year!   A winner from each month of 2007 (with a few honorable mentions)  is included.   The top 3 winners of this contest will receive a place on my opening home page for the next month, and the grand prize winner will receive a complimentary session for 2008.  Please ONE vote per household!  Remember its all in fun! Results are now “sealed” until the contest ends and will be shown on March 5th at 5pm when the contest ends

I couldn’t wait for Momma S to deliver Baby C.    As I’m sure could all of Momma S’s friends who were sure to keep me updated on the status last week.   We did his big sisters newborn session in my studio, but I went to their gorgeous home for his session.   He was wonderful for us (I know I’ve said that about all my recent newborns, but really I’ve been so blessed the last few weeks!)    We tried somethings out of my “norm” after we got all the other shots out of the way…definitly fun to spice it up!

This was our creative way to get big sister in the shots..haha

The winners of my blog contest for the best friend essay came in this week!  Lots of kids all together at one time,  but we were pleased to get a group shot!  And look, everyone is looking too!

Lots of newborns lately!  And this was another that was sheer perfection!   She was as sweet as pie too!

I’m working on a new promo for a limited edition session.   Need 2 boy models for the advertisement.   Aged 2-3 and  5-7ish.    Need a boy who enjoys getting his photos taken (cause we all know all kids are cute!)   You will be required to bring your child in sometime between Thursday and Sunday, photo shoot should take no longer then 10 minutes and most of the clothing will be provided.  You will not be charged for the session, and will receive a complimentary 5×7 from the shoot in exchange for a signed model release.    Please email me if interested at info@emaphotography.com

I’m just loving all these newborns!  Plus 2 more to share this week as well.   This sweetie came in at 10 days old and yet another who slept like a champ and was soo good to us!

I love this sibling shot…not always easy when 2 are this young for sure but this makes it worth it!   See mom..I didn’t mention the “E” word..haha
