But they photographed so well!  This was such a sweet family and we captured alot of great shots!

This is the third time I photographed Ms. J,  shes growing up right before our eyes.  At 18 months we thought we wouldn’t get much but she was sooo good and she even had a suprize for me by saying “Hi Caweee (carrie)”  when she walked in the studio, melted my heart!

After some nudging from one of my favorite clients Amy, I am offering a last minute and very limited “mommy and me” session special.   Please read the details below!

I couldn’t wait for this session, her moms entry just really touched my judges for the contest.    We all know a tough age 13 can be (for a child and the parent..haha)   She was a dream to photograph…just stunning features!

I’ve gotten alot of emails about my recent newborns and asking how young is too young for portraits.  Easy answer, its never to early!   Newborns are best photographed under 2 weeks of age in order to capture that true newborn “essense”.   While any age is a great age for portraits, there is nothing like those first few weeks of life.    Check out my latest “newborn special” ——>  listed under “newborn information”

I’ve also been emailed asking when I’m going to be booking for the holidays this year.  Since every year the holiday sessions book up very quickly, its very important to schedule asap!    I will begin booking for Holiday sessions (Holiday sessions will take place between August and November 2008) May 1, so get your calenders handy and be ready!  Check the blog that date for any specials too!

Ask most Professional Photographers and they will tell you how different (and sometimes difficult) it can be to get a shot of their own child!    Try that times 3!   Not perfect but at least they are all acting like they love eachother..haha   We did this little commercial shoot for YouCanMakeThis.com   If you’ve never been to the site its great!  There are lots of wonderful ebooks on there on how you can make all the cute custom kids clothes and accessories you see!   Of course I’ll stick to the photography as I can’t even use hot glue without getting burnt!

First…many know this sweet newborns big sister Ms. O, she has quite the following as one of my clients and little models.

I didn’t think it was possible to be as sweet as she, but along came her new baby sister this week.. Baby S     She was so scrumptious and slept the entire time and squished perfectly!    And they already can compete with eachother as Ms. O’s newborn session was over 3 hours, but Baby S was so good to us that we got everything we needed in an hour and a half!   Thats a record!   I can’t stress enough the importance of bringing them in as soon as possible!

Couldn’t wait to see this cutie again… she was actually my first “in home” newborn session I did and she came to the studio for her 7 month shots.    Poor thing was so exhausted by time we were done but I drug her outside for a quick shots out there too!
